ABOUT ME

My greatest blessings in life are my husband Shaun, my step kids and our energetic toddler Graham. I love to take photographs because I love people. I love meeting people, learning about them and capturing the way they interact together, but nothing can come before my family. They are my first and always.

Number one thing I hear from people is "I'm not photogenic". Join the club. I don't know many who think they are. But believe me I get it, to my core, I understand what you are feeling, and because I understand you can trust me when I tell you that you look beautiful, amazing, natural and yes even photogenic.

Oh yeah, and I love me some Crumble cookies. Really any cookies.

This is Nicole. She also is a lover of Jamba Juice, maybe not as much as I am but you can bet if I need her she will be there. She is my right hand gal when I photograph weddings and she will be sure to make you laugh on your wedding day exactly when you need a laugh. Having friends and a reliable support system is not just important before the wedding day, but also ON the wedding day, and really anytime you will be taking photos.

I like to say I am creative, but the truth is I am inspired by creativity of others. I am not too proud to admit that I get a lot of inspiration from Pinterest and Google. Then as I'm in the moment and my eyes see what there is to work with as far as lighting and background etc I can be independently creative, but most of the time, I'm inspired by someone else's creation. They say there are no knew ideas... who knows.

Throwing skittles while trying to take a picture, not a new idea, turned out to be louder and harder to clean up then I thought.
